Just about every week brings new revelations about Hillary’s private email scandal and this week was no exception as Hillary was asked about the FBI investigation into her use of a private email server while serving as Secretary of State. According to The Blaze:
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says the FBI has not contacted her regarding its probe of whether she held classified information on her private email server.
Asked on CNN’s “State of the Union” whether she had been interviewed by the FBI yet, the former secretary of state replied, “No.”
She did not elaborate.
Federal investigators are looking into the security of Clinton’s email setup amid concerns from the intelligence community’s inspector general that classified information may have passed through the system. Clinton provided the server to the FBI in August.
Clinton has said she didn’t send or receive information that was classified at the time via her personal email account.
What’s interesting is that the FBI hasn’t interviewed her yet. It could mean a few different things. It could be there isn’t enough evidence and they’re not planning on interviewing her – that’s unlikely. More likely is the FBI has so much evidence and are ensuring that when they do interview, they are ready. Mrs. Clinton will show up, most likely very lawyered up, and the FBI better be ready for every possible question, response and legal maneuver.
Time will tell, but as is clear from the video, Mrs. Clinton clearly isn’t.
