Twitter Pulls NPR Apart Over ‘Fact Check’

While it’s not uncommon for the liberal media to constant ride on Trump’s coattails, NPR did themselves no favors by posting their fact checking work.

During the State of the Union, President Trump’s most uplifting moment was when he praised women for all their contributions and progress.

He was met with a standing ovation when Trump stated, “Exactly one century after Congress passed the Constitutional amendment giving women the right to vote, we also have more women serving in Congress than at any time before.”

It was here that NPR took issue with Trump’s statement and decided to point out some “facts” in this ill-conceived tweet.

Many in the Twitter-verse took issue with this misaligned “fact check” and pointed out how Trump’s remark was still true.

NPR should give real fact checking and investigative work a try before making their next tweet.
