The streets are filled with both protestors and soldiers as the country of Venezuela faces a coup from opposition leaders.
Self-proclaimed acting president Juan Guaido led the opposition in a coup to oust Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
Bolstering the public, Guaido was also seen standing next to Leopoldo Lopez. Lopez is the nation’s most-prominent opposition activist but has been absent from the public eye after being detained in 2014 for anti-government protests. He revealed that security forces working with guide had freed him from house arrest.
“I want to tell the Venezuelan people: This is the moment to take to the streets and accompany these patriotic soldiers,” Lopez declared.
