A new complaint filed with the Federal Election Commission could expose one 2020 hopeful as a federal criminal.
The Coolidge Reagan Foundation has filed the complaint which alleges that presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is in violation of federal election laws because he has given three foreign nationals advisory positions in his campaign.
The complaint points to the specific employment of Maria Belén Sisa, Cesar Vargas and Erika Andiola as in violation.
Sanders stands accused of illegally hiring and paying the three foreign nationals to work on his presidential campaign.
Now it’s up to the FEC to decide what will happen next.
